Hi Andrew! I did visit. I was disguised as a substitute. You didn't recognize me? 

I saw you and Grace and Johnny and a lot of others.

I'm afraid that Morrill just doesn't seem like Morrill without Mr. Palla.

My classroom chalkboard is gone. That's what I hear. But it's no longer my classroom so I guess the Powers That Be can do whatever they want.

Chalkboards have soul. White Boards have the personality of a paper cup, to paraphrase Raymond Chandler.

I have a nice, big chalkboard on a wall in my living room. No kidding. I'll have to upload a photo of it one of these days.

I love chalkboards!

I love chalkboards. They're nice and green. And white boards are, well, white.

How nice it is that you have Ms. M.! She's a fantastic teacher and a fantastic person. She and Will are probably my favorite people that I left behind. (Though Ms. Wagner is extraordinary and so is Ms. Itatani and Ms. Lycam.)

I haven't seen the Chained Man in a long time. Every now and then he sends me a grouchy email and that's about it.

I'm in English 1A now. High school is fun, but I miss Morrill. We watched Schindler's List and, as usual, I hardly watched any of it since there was a lot of blood and gore and such. It was a good movie overall, though. I miss you and hope being a hobo isn't too hard on ya. There's a storm coming you know. Wait. If you're a hobo, are you walking to random places with free wifi? Being a full time hobo suits me pretty well though on Halloween I missed telling scary stories to impressionable 7th graders. 

Some people were born to be rock stars. I was born to be a hobo. It's pretty cool.

So far, it's pretty nice. Every morning when I get up, the first thing I like to do is take a nap. I miss correcting papers and giving detention, but every now and then I still tell people to spit out their gum. They give me funny looks and then sometimes they wave their middle finger but then I write them a referral and then it gets really interesting. 

Oh someone threw away Mr. Stick and Broomella.
